I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate based out of the Oklahoma City metro area. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the manufacturing industry for 11 years and in municipal economic development for 3 years. So while I have formal training in counseling, I also have lived "real life" outside the academic world. Consistent throughout my life, I have been drawn to helping others engage their story for hope and healing.
My academic training includes a Masters of Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. I have also completed the Narrative Focused Trauma Care Level I training from The Allender Center at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I earned my undergraduate degree in Economics from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
I live in Oklahoma City and am married with three zany children. I enjoy playing competitive Ultimate Frisbee, hiking and camping with family and friends, and sharing a good meal.
Let's schedule a time to chat by phone to discuss how I might be able to help or whether we might be a good fit for therapy. If you're not available during any of these times, let me know in the form and we can try to find another time that works.
